Cookie Policy
Cookie Policy
Effective date: June 12, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Internality uses cookies and similar technologies on internality.org (the "Site"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" include pixels and tracking scripts that work in comparable ways. They can be set by us ("first-party") or by a third-party service we use ("third-party"), and they can last only for your visit ("session") or persist between visits ("persistent").
Our approach to consent
We keep tracking to a minimum. Our website analytics are privacy-focused and do not use cookies or identify you personally. We do not set non-essential marketing or behavioral cookies unless you give consent through our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
Cookies and technologies we use
Strictly necessary (always on). These are required for the Site to function and do not require consent. They do not track you for marketing. Examples include security and load-balancing technology used by our hosting and content-delivery providers (Render and Cloudflare). These are exempt from consent because the Site cannot work properly without them.
Analytics (no cookies, privacy-focused). We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service hosted in the European Union. Plausible does not set cookies, does not store personal data, and does not track you across websites. It produces only aggregated counts. Because it does not use cookies or identify you, it does not place anything on your device.
Marketing and CRM (consent-based). We use HubSpot for our forms and communications. When you consent, HubSpot may set cookies that recognize your browser and help us understand how visitors engage with our content. These are not set unless you consent.
If you consent, HubSpot cookies typically include:
hubspotutk — identifies a visitor's browser to link form submissions and analytics (third-party, up to 6 months).
__hstc — tracks visits over time (third-party, up to 6 months).
__hssc — tracks the current session (third-party, 30 minutes).
__hssrc — detects whether the visitor restarted their browser (third-party, session).
messagesUtk — links a visitor to a chat or messaging conversation, if used (third-party, up to 6 months).
If you do not consent, HubSpot does not set these cookies. We may still receive limited, non-cookie analytics about page views in a form that does not identify you.
Managing your choices
Use the cookie banner when you first visit to set your preferences. You can also adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies; note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Site works. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices or the law change. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
